A structured, behavioural interview via telephone or online video is conducted with a recruiter who is based in the country of your assignment. The interview focuses on a range of areas including:

• Country-specific challenges
• Commitment to volunteering
• Child protection awareness
• Personal competencies required of a successful volunteer
• Relationship building

You will need to demonstrate your understanding of the challenges and responsibilities expected of an international volunteer. You will also be asked about your commitment to skilled international volunteering.
