Preparing to volunteer
These online workshops help you to get ready for your remote assignment.
All remote volunteers are required to attend a Preparing To Volunteer workshop (PTV). This is three-hour interactive online workshop is designed to prepare you for the program. The workshops cover key information specific to the program with a particular focus on volunteering in the online space, and are a chance to connect with other remote volunteers.
Failure to attend mandatory briefing sessions, or participate fully in the activities, may result in your assignment being delayed or cancelled.
Briefings are run regularly online and suitable dates are discussed with candidates during the application process.
