Virtual field trip to India takes off

Our virtual field trip to India gave a burst of creativity and fresh ideas to our work exploring new youth-focused volunteering models as part of our work in Exploring Volunteering for Development. Complete with boarding passes and our friendly ‘cabin crew’, teams and partner organisations from 12 countries joined our virtual visit to the organisation Pravah.

Pravah focuses on creating a national ecosystem that engages and nurtures young people to bring about change in themselves and their society. Through this experiential format, we learnt about the key principles for working with young people that Pravah has developed over the past 26 years. We see play, creativity and the opportunity to learn from others as important ingredients for innovative thinking.
