Sharing learnings with the International Forum for Volunteering in Development

The Innovation Hub's Anna Trahair recently presented the Hub team's learnings to the Forum's Research, Practice, Policy and Learning Group.

In the presentation, Anna discussed the structure and resourcing of the Hub, with the larger group generally agreeing that dedicated resourcing for innovation is rare. She also shared the Innovation Hub team's experiences working with their innovation partner, The Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI), as well as current volunteers and staff.

The presentation included a discussion of notable projects, including:

• Volunteering for Development

The takeaway of the evening was how creating an environment that fosters innovation can contribute to organisational development and overcoming the challenges of the status quo.
