We’re looking for a Youth Life Skills Training Officer who can live and volunteer for 12 months in the Philippines.

  • This assignment seeks to support Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and out-of-school youth through inclusive life skills training that builds confidence, employability, and pathways to further education.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need experience in youth development or life skills training, strong facilitation skills, and a commitment to empowering marginalised youth.
  • As a volunteer, you will support training module development, workshop facilitation, mentorship, and culturally inclusive program delivery.

About the Partner Organisation

The Welcome Home Foundation, Inc. (WHFI) is a non-profit organisation based in Bacolod City, Philippines, dedicated to supporting Deaf and hard-of-hearing children and youth. The partner is seeking a volunteer due to a need for global perspectives and expertise in inclusive youth life skills programming, particularly to enhance its one-year bridge program aimed at preparing Deaf youth for work or further study.
