Technical Trainer (for Jo)

We’re looking for a Technical Trainer who can live and volunteer for 6 weeks in Laos.

• This assignment seeks to support the organizational development of the Master Trainer team
• As a volunteer, you will support network building with other lifelong/adult learning organisations and projects to grow the LLL ecosystem in Lao PDR

About the partner organisation 

The Department of Education and Culture, established following the creation of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, underwent significant changes up until 1993. On June 23, 1993, the Ministry of Education issued Agreement No. 319/SS/93, which outlined the organization and roles of various offices and departments. As a result, the Department of Public Education and Culture was renamed the Department of Non-Formal Education. An Australian volunteer will be able to support the NFEDC by sharing their knowledge, skills and teaching/training methods. They will be able to bring new ways of training to the NFEDC and further consolidate existing training skills. Such expertise can be difficult to fill locally, as in Laos, many trainers either work privately or work in high positions of government.
