We’re looking for a Risk Management and Risk Appetite Framework Advisor who can live and volunteer for 3 months in Tuvalu.

  • This assignment seeks to ensure risk management is addressed by having a risk appetite framework in place.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need professional certifications such as FRM, CRMP or CTP as well as demonstrated experience working in risk management.
  • You will be working alongside the team to complete the Risk Appetite Framework then help to develop the associated activities to support it's successful implementation.

About the partner organisation

The Development Bank of Tuvalu was established as a bank to carry out general banking business in accordance with accepted international banking principals and practices. It's vision is to offer and deliver quality and sustainable business development support in Tuvalu. Their mission is to be the best partner in business development, renewable energy and climate change initiatives.

The bank has initiated the development of a Risk Appetite Statement but they are seeking support to fully complete it, develop a communication plan, training material and an M&E reporting plan. As it is difficult to find a qualified individual with experience in this field in Tuvalu they are seeking support from a volunteer to build the capacity of staff.
