Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is looking for a Psychiatric Mentor who can live and volunteer for six months in Kupang, Indonesia.
- JPM has planned for a mental health project in Kupang and the volunteer will focus on providing supports and advice on the implementation of the project.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a qualification in mental health and/or experience in designing, implementing, and reviewing mental health program
- You will be working alongside the villages' health volunteers, health staff at district health centers and JPM's staff.
About the Partner Organisation
Yayasan Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is a local NGO based in Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. The organisation's main projects are in child health, community health, education, agriculture and empowerment of people with disabilities. JPM is implementing projects in Kupang, Timur Tengah Selatan and Timur Tengah Utara districts.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements include a First Aid Certificate
