We’re looking for a Project Development Mentor who can volunteer remotely from home for 3 months.

  • This assignment seeks to help the organisation in developing an all inclusive and sustainable WASH project.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a university degree in project management, public health, sanitary engineering or other related field.
  • As a volunteer, you will support in mentoring the team to provide an inclusive and sustainable SMART WASH Project.  

About the Partner Organisation 

Community Responsibility Plan (COREPLAN) is a non-government and non-profit humanitarian relief and development organisation that works to save lives and promote self-reliance and dignity within marginalised communities in Tanzania. The organisation has three existing focus areas which are the Prevention of Gender Based Violence, Provision of proper water and sanitation facilities, and Prevention of maternal death in Tanzania. COREPLAN'S projects focus on marginalised communities in Tanzania.

The volunteer assignment's pivotal role is providing guidance in developing a well planned WASH project that will help address some of the community problems in the area of WASH. They wish to achieve stability and continuity with their impact.

Allowance

AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
