We’re looking for a Program Coordinatorwho can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 12 months.

  • This assignment seeks to build capacity and Leadership Skills among Khmer Staff
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a degree or diploma in Education, Community Development, Social Work, or a related field. Or the relevant equivalent experience.
  • As a volunteer, you will improve Organisational Systems and Program Documentation.

About the Partner Organisation

We are Heartprint, an Australian registered charity and a local Cambodian NGO operating in Siem Reap, Cambodia, with both Australian and Cambodian leadership and staff. Our team includes Khmer nationals and a small number of living-in-country Australians. We work directly in SiemReap province, collaborating with local village chiefs and commune authorities to reach communities in greatest need. This volunteer assignment is vital to Heartprint’s ongoing development and long-term impact. As we continue to grow and strengthen our services, this role will help improve our internal organisation, enhance program delivery, and provide valuable leadership support. Most importantly, it offers an opportunity for our Cambodian staff to gain hands-on learning from an experienced volunteer—building their confidence, skills, and capacity to lead. The volunteer will work closely with our young Khmer team to provide guidance, mentorship, and training in areas such as program design, documentation, and team coordination
