We’re looking for a Press Production Trainer who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji.


  • This assignment seeks to develop and implement a structured annual printing and publication for PCU Press
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need proficiency with print production software and technologies with strong project management and organisational skills
  • You will be working alongside members of PCU in producing inclusive and accessible printed and digital materials

About the Partner Organisation 

Pasifika Communities University (PCU) embraces a community-based learning approach, prioritizing social transformation and self-determined awareness over traditional institutional models. Having recently transitioned from college to a university, PCU is still developing key roles to support its students. This volunteer role is vital for maintainging high-quality, industry-standard publications.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining a First Aid Certificate as well as different formats of reference checks (details to be discussed upon selection).


Please note that the Program is temporarily unable to support Approved Accompanying Dependents (AADs) to Fiji until further notice.
