Policy Engagement & Strategic Partnerships Mentor

We’re looking for a Policy Engagement & Strategic Partnerships Mentor who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 9 months. 

• This assignment seeks to strengthen CKC's capacity to engage strategically with government, DFAT-funded programs, development partners, and regional networks by enhancing policy engagement, strategic partnerships, donor positioning, and systems-level influence.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need an advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in public policy, international development, social sciences, or a related field, along with at least 7–10 years' experience in policy engagement, strategic partnerships, or international development programs.
• You will be working alongside CKC's leadership team and research staff, collaborating with government agencies, DFAT-funded programs, development partners, research institutions, private sector representatives, and community stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and policy engagement.

About the partner organisation 

Center for Knowledge Co-creation and Development (CKC) is a non-profit research and consultancy organization based in Hue City, Vietnam, dedicated to promoting inclusive and sustainable development. CKC conducts social research, planning, and development consultancy, focusing on empowering disadvantaged groups, including women, people with disabilities, and ethnic minorities. The organization works closely with communities, government agencies, NGOs, universities, and the private sector to co-create knowledge and deliver sustainable, locally responsive development solutions. CKC has strengthened its capacity in business development, grant writing, gender, and communications through previous Australian Volunteers. It now requires a volunteer to help translate these strengths into stronger strategic partnerships, policy influence, and systems-level impact, supporting CKC's long-term growth and alignment with DFAT's Development Partnership Plan (DPP) objectives in Vietnam.
