We’re looking for an Organisational Sustainability & Resource Mobilisation Mentor who canlive and volunteer for 12 months in Port Moresby, National Capital District, Papua New Guinea.

  • This assignment seeks to develop and implement sustainable financial models and diversified funding strategies to strengthen EPF’s long-term organisational sustainability.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications and Marketing and Development studies, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • As a volunteer, you will deliver mentoring and training sessions for the Senior Management Team on financial sustainability, budgeting, and fundraising strategies.

About the Partner Organisation

Equal Playing Field (EPF) is a locally led organisation based in Papua New Guinea, dedicated to advancing human and community development. Established in 2011, EPF operates across various provinces, using sport and education as catalysts for positive social change. The organisation delivers programs in schools and communities that promote respectful relationships, prevent violence, and build leadership capacity among young people.

EPF’s aim is to create safe, inclusive, and gender-equitable communities by empowering individuals, especially youth to challenge harmful social norms and champion equality. EPF works closely with schools, local governments, civil society organisations, and development partners to strengthen community resilience and drive behavioural change.

The volunteer will work closely with EPF’s Senior Management Team and report directly to the CEO to design and implement these strategies. Due to current funding limitations and the high level of technical expertise required in sustainable financial management and business development, this role cannot be filled locally. A volunteer with extensive experience in organisational sustainability and resource mobilisation will provide critical support and mentorship to the team.
