We’re looking for an Organizational development mentor who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 4 months. 

  • This assignment seeks to Implement a short-term capacity-strengthening plan 
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need Degree in Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or similar 
  • As a volunteer, you will support to design training modules and materials for implementing the capacity-strengthening plan  

About the Partner Organisation 

The Press Institute of Mongolia is a not-for-profit training and research organization committed to advancing a free and independent media in Mongolia. Based in Ulaanbaatar, we work locally and regionally—across Mongolia, the Asian region, and internationally—providing professional and aspiring journalists with the skills and knowledge needed to strengthen investigative and news reporting. Our research team supports policymakers and international organizations with accurate, up-to-date analysis of the Mongolian media landscape to address the challenges facing local news media.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
