We’re looking for an Organisational Development Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Cambodia.

  • This assignment seeks to assist with managing current and other grants.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor's Degree (in development management / marketing / social work / related field) +2 years relatable experience
  • As a volunteer, you will coach and mentor staff in project and finance management.

About the Partner Organisation

Beautiful Life Organisation is a locally-registered organisation that has been operating since 2017. We aim to create safe spaces for people with diverse SOGIESC (sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, and sexual characteristics; commonly referred to as “LGBTIQ+ people”) where they feel included, comfortable, accepted and celebrated. BLO went through a lot of changes and organisational development with our first AVP volunteer, however his placement ended before all the changes could be fully implemented. With new staff and role transitions for other staff, it has been difficult to build momentum and find our feet. We envision that an Organisational Development Mentor through AVP will help to figure out where we are at and what we need to get to the next stage. They will also help to manage and maintain connections with donors/potential donors, and apply for funding for BLO.
