We’re looking for an Organisational Capacity Development Officer who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fji.
- This assignment seeks to assist with analysis of any existing Strategic Plan document and identify successes and areas for improvement
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need strong project management skills, along with proven facilitation, training and mentoring abilities
- As a volunteer, you will support with the review of organisation's current fundraising strategies and suggest fundraising opportunities and partnerships
About the Partner Organisation
Heart Heroes Fiji (HHF) strives to raise public awareness about Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF) and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD), establish safe spaces for affected individuals, and support healthcare professionals, caregivers, patients, and their families. Its key objectives include educating the public about symptoms and harm reduction strategies relating to ARF and RHD. heart-related diseases like sore throats, ARF, RHD, fostering partnerships between government and non-government agencies; advocating for community recognition and improved healthcare services; and providing counseling and training for patients, families, and heart disease advocates.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining a First Aid Certificate.
