We’re looking for an Oncology Nurse Mentor who can live and volunteer for 3 months in Cambodia.
- This assignment seeks to improve the skills of in-house Oncology Nurse in Medical Oncology Department
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science or above specializing in Oncology
- As a volunteer, you will support to improve quality assurance protocols for patient safety and nursing processing.
About the Partner Organisation
Luang Mè Hospital is the first specialized cancer hospital in Cambodia. The hospital will serve as tertiary healthcare facilities for public to support the health policy of the royal government of Cambodia. We aim to provide a leading cancer care and management with comprehensive approach including radiation therapy, surgery, chemotherapy, advanced technology in microbiology and pathology laboratory. Oncology nurse mentor will guide nurses in navigating complex patient care, building clinical confidence, and managing high stress or emotional burnout, often following a competency-based orientation. Mentors support professional growth, facilitate career development, and provide psychosocial support for tasks like managing patient grief.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include First Aid Certificate.
