National Ageing Policy Advisor

We’re looking for a National Ageing Policy Advisor  who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji. 

• This assignment seeks to contribute to and assist in reviewing Fiji's National Policy on Ageing 2011-2015.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor's degree or higher in Sociology, Social Policy, Psychology, Gerontology, or a related field
• You will be working alongside a small team. 

About the Partner Organisation 

The National Council of Older Persons (NCOP) Act was created in 2012 to support older people. Its goals are to promote inclusion, dignity, respect for human rights, and to meet basic needs by empowering older individuals. In 2013, a council was appointed under this Act. Since then, the older persons unit in the Ministry has been responsible for managing the activities and budget of the NCOP.
