We’re looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation Mentor who can live and volunteer in Tanzania for 12 months.
- This assignment seeks to support MMA to strengthen and sustain best practices in M&E, as a learning organisation.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a relevant qualification in monitoring and evaluation and experience in this field.
- You will be working alongside the team to evaluate current M&E methodologies and support MMA to set up an M&E framework that more effectively measures success.
About the Partner Organisation
Media Monitoring Africa (MMA), based in Johannesburg, has a vision to create a responsible, quality media that enables an engaged and informed citizenry in Africa and the world. MMA aims to promote the development of a free, fair, ethical and critical media culture across the African continent.
MMA values and understands the importance of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and has worked to implement best practices to assess the efficiency of their programs, support learning, and promote accountability. They are looking for a volunteer who will support them to build internal capacity to implement credible, sustainable, and impact driven M&E activities.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include attaining a First Aid Certificate.
