We’re looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation Mentor who can volunteer in Lesotho in a hybrid role both remotely (online) for 2 months then in-country for 10 months.

  • As a volunteer, you will support To build staff capacity in M&E and ensure regular reporting on strategic progress.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a relevant qualification in M&E as well as proven experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks and systems.
  • You will be working alongside the LNFOD team to design and implement effective M&E frameworks aligned with their Strategic Plan.

About the Partner Organisation 

The Lesotho National Federation of Organisations of the Disabled (LNFOD), based in Maseru, is the national umbrella body representing organisations of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Lesotho. It works to promote and advocate for the rights and inclusion of all PWDs throughout the country. LNFOD's core aim is to support the empowerment of its member organisations and the wider disability community through advocacy, capacity building, and programmatic interventions.

LNFOD is seeking a volunteer to support the development and implementation of new M&E systems, review strategic plans, and build staff capacity in results-based management. This is critical for fostering a culture of monitoring and results-based management within the organisation to ensure they can measure program effectiveness, track progress against objectives, and report accurately to donors and communities.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.

The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$ 2000 per month, the allowance for the part time remote phase is AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include providing or attaining a First Aid Certificate.
