We’re looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Mentor who can live and volunteer in Tanzania for 12 months.

  • This assignment seeks to improve the monitoring, evaluation and learning system & framework for the organisation.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a​​ Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related discipline. 
  • You will be working alongside the organisation's National Coordinator and other team members to enable them to better serve their members and contribute meaningfully to national and global education goals.

About the Partner Organisation 

The Tanzania Education Network/Mtandao wa Elimu Tanzania (TEN/MET), based in Dar es Salaam, is a network of 244 education Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) endeavouring to influence the transformation of education. The organisation's vision is collectively realised by proactively influencing and informing policy and practices that promote access to inclusive, equitable and quality education in Tanzania. 

This volunteer assignment will complement existing efforts, ensure knowledge transfer, and leave a sustainable impact by building internal capacity for long-term MEL integration across the network.​

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include providing or attaining a First Aid Certificate.
