We’re looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer who can live and volunteer for 4 months in Mongolia.

  • This assignment seeks to strengthen staff capacity in M&E Practices.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, child development, public health, or related field.
  • As a volunteer, you will support in enhancing Program Quality and Tracking

About the Partner Organisation 

The organization is committed to promoting the well-being and protection of children and supporting family-centred development. It engages directly with children, families, caregivers, local communities, and social service providers to deliver programs and services. Additionally, the organization maintains partnerships with government agencies, civil society organizations, and international stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and share technical expertise. This assignment requires volunteer with technical expertise in monitoring and evaluation, child protection standards, and evidence-based program assessment, which is not yet fully available within the organization. It also requires experience implementing international M&E best practices, using digital tools, and supporting staff capacity-building. The volunteer’s involvement will therefore be critical to strengthening organizational skills, introducing effective practices, and improving program quality.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
