We’re looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer who can live and volunteer in Tonga for 12 months.  

  • This assignment seeks to improve Monitoring and Evaluation process and data management
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and a Minimum of 3 years experience in developing monitoring and evaluation systems and tools.
  • You will be working alongside the team to enhance the organization’s performance which will lead to enriching the lives of Tongans.

About the Partner Organisation 

NRL Tonga, based in Ma'ufanga, provides health and wellbeing programs for primary school students, awareness and prevention of violence against women and children as well as Rugby League experience and education through out the country. Their vision is to be the most engaging, most respected sport. Their mission is to bring people together and enrich their lives.

A volunteer Monitoring and Evaluation officer would support NRL Tonga to strengthen the way they collect, evaluate and present information about their programs. In addition, the volunteer would provide guidance on strengthening monitoring tools, measuring impact, and donor reporting. They will work across the Gender Based Violence(GBV) prevention, health promotion programs and sports programs of NRL Tonga.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include a First Aid Certificate.
