We’re looking for an M&E Officer for AHP Disaster Ready Consortium who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Timor-Leste. 

 

  • This assignment seeks to improve M&E practices (Based on collected data and the sharing of identified good practices developed and used by Disaster READY partners
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a University undergraduate level of education and/or extensive work experience in monitoring, evaluation or research.
  • You will be working alongside with the M&E team across the AHP Consortium members
  • Provide support in M&E and its good practices  


About the Partner Organisation 

Care has operated in Timor Leste since 1994, originally as part of The Indonesian Country Office Managed by Care Canada, transitioning to an autonomous Country Office in 2000 and Managed by Care Australia since 2008. Car in Timor Leste (CITL) has a primary focus on long-term sustainable development projects in the area of disaster preparedness response, primary school education and children's rights, capacity building for local partners and government, economic empowerment, gender equality, and women's leadership. This In-Country Assignment will contribute to supporting the AHP agencies in the development and implementation of M&E and Its good practices, the Production of high-quality M&E material in English, and critical analysis of how to most effectively share the project impact with external audiences.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
