We’re looking for a Media and Communication Trainer who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Palau.

  • This assignment seeks to help set a training schedule and delivery to the College. 
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need proven experience in designing and delivering media and communications training, workshops, or capacity building programs
  • You will be working alongside members of the Palau Media Council and the Palau National Olympic Committee

About the partner organisation 

The Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC) is the Olympic committee for Palau. It was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1999.

The PNOC has a close relationship with the Government of Palau and works to assist with the development of sport in the country. It also fulfils its mandate to select, prepare and lead athletes to the Olympic Games, Pacific Game and the Micronesia Games.

PNOC in collaboration with Palau Community College will host the media and communications training component and require an experienced volunteer to help facilitate.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include providing or attaining a First Aid Certificate.
