Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Oe-Cusse, RAEOA - Timor Leste.

• This assignment seeks to develop and implement a Comprehensive Marketing ( and Communication) Strategy
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.
• You will be working alongside government officials at the Region
• As a volunteer, you will support capacity building, reporting, and mentoring.
• Participate in meetings, planning, and consulting.
• Provide support in Capacity building

About the Partner Organisation 

On January 31, 2024, the Timor Leste Prime Minister officially inaugurated the newly appointed President of the Oe-Cússe Ambeno Special Administrative Region Authority (RAEOA), along with the Executive Committee members tasked with overseeing the establishment of a Special Economic Development Zone in Oe-Cússe Ambeno.  This appointment reflects a strategic shift aimed at redefining operational autonomy for RAEOA, in alignment with the Government’s Programme. The Special Economic Zone Development of Oe-Cusse Ambeno (ZEEDOA) is an initiative aimed at fostering economic growth and sustainable development in the Special Administrative Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno (RAEOA), Timor-Leste. The Marketing Specialist will serve as a key driver in shaping the public image, outreach, and strategic messaging for the Special Economic Development Zone (SEZ) in Oe-Cússe Ambeno. This role is critical to ensuring the SEZ gains visibility, attracts investment and business partnerships, and fosters active engagement with government institutions, private sector players, and local communities.
