We’re looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist  who can live and volunteer for 12 months in the Country

  • This assignment seeks to Assist in Developing APORTIL's Marketing and Communications Strategy & Plan for Local and International Markets
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • You will be working alongside a marketing & Communication team.
  • As a volunteer, you will support capacity building, reporting, mentoring.
  • Participate in meetings, planning, and consulting.
  • Provide support in developing Marketing strategy
  • Work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through [outline specific SDG contribution...] 

About the Partner Organisation 

The Administration of Ports of Timor-Leste (APORTIL, I.P.) is a public institute integrated in the indirect administration of the state, endowed with legal authority, administrative and financial autonomy and its own assets. APORTIL, I.P. has its headquarters in Dili and may establish permanent delegation in the areas of jurisdiction defined in article 4 of the statute of administration of the ports of Timor-Leste approved by decree law number 03/2003, March 10 (hereinafter referred to as the statute). APORTIL, I.P. is bound by the signature of two members of the Administration Council, one of which must be the president or whoever replaces him in case of absence or impediment.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
