Marketing & Branding Specialist

We’re looking for a Marketing & Branding Specialist who can volunteer remotely (online) from home for 6 months. 

• This assignment seeks to develop and implement a strategic marketing and branding plan to enhance RSPCA PNG’s visibility and public engagement across Papua New Guinea.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a degree or demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, with a background in strategic planning and campaign development.
• As a volunteer, you will support develop a marketing and branding strategy tailored to RSPCA PNG’s goals, audience, and resources.

About the Partner Organisation 

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Papua New Guinea (RSPCA PNG) is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on animal welfare, aiming to prevent cruelty and neglect while promoting responsible pet ownership. Established to address the growing need for animal care in PNG, RSPCA PNG operates an animal shelter that provides rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for abandoned and mistreated animals, giving them a safe space and a chance at a new life.

Beyond shelter services, RSPCA PNG actively engages in community outreach and education programs to promote public awareness of animal welfare and responsible care practices. By partnering with schools, communities, and government bodies, the organization fosters a cultural shift toward compassion and respect for animals. Their educational initiatives are designed to reduce cruelty cases and support policies that protect animals across the country.

As a charitable organisation, RSPCA PNG has yet to fully leverage modern marketing tools to promote our services, increase our membership base, and better engage with the community. This assignment will support us in clearly communicating who we are, what we do, and the impact of our work.
