We’re looking for a Leadership Development Mentorwho can live and volunteer for 6 months in Cambodia.

  • This assignment seeks to support the Executive Director to build capability in executive leadership, with a focus on governance, strategic decision-making, and organizational development
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as non-profit management, international development, organizational leadership, public administration, education, or business
  • As a volunteer, you will provide hands-on coaching to strengthen the ED’s effectiveness as a ‘people leader’, including consultation, delegation, and team alignment.

About the Partner Organisation

PEPY Empowering Youth (PEPY) is a non-profit NGO providing personal and professional development pathways to rural youth in Siem Reap, Cambodia. PEPY is led by local Cambodians dedicated to helping individuals identify their dreams and find pathways to careers success. Starting at the high school level, PEPY’s interwoven programs provide holistic support for young people to have the tools, network, and resources to succeed in school and thrive in the professional setting of their choice. The assignment is designed to provide targeted coaching and mentoring support to a newly appointed Executive Director (ED) who brings energy, commitment, and deep programmatic knowledge to the role, but whose leadership capabilities are in development. The Leadership Development Mentor will help the ED navigate the demands of executive leadership, laying the foundation for a high-performing leadership culture. The role also includes 'light-touch' support for the Management Team and Board to ensure collective alignment around the ED’s leadership and the organization’s strategic direction.
