About the partner organisation
So They Can (STC), based in Arusha, focuses on education with programs developed to provide quality education to children living in poverty. They do this through working on improved learning conditions, teacher training, child development, and women’s empowerment. In 2025, the organisation partnered with 34 government schools.
With wide-ranging projects in diverse areas, STC handles an immense volume of data. To date, the organisation has primarily relied on stakeholders to collect data to inform its reports. The volunteer would work closely with the team to help develop Data Management Systems to ensure efficient data collection, storage, security, accessibility and interpretation of data to improve decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency. The volunteer will play a crucial role in capacity building and helping the team to set up the data collection and management system.
