About the Partner Organisation
So They Can (STC), based in Arusha, focuses on education with existing programs developed to provide quality education to children living in poverty. They do this through working on improved learning conditions, teacher training, child development, and women’s empowerment. In 2025, the organisation partnered with 34 government schools.
With wide-ranging projects in diverse areas, STC handles an immense volume of data. To date, the organisation has primarily relied on stakeholders to collect data to inform its reports. However, a key challenge has been ensuring the accuracy and reliability of this information, as a result of this the organisation is seeking a volunteer Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) – Data Collection Officer. The volunteer will play a crucial role in helping the team develop a tailored data collection and management system to support the effective handling, organisation, and interpretation of large datasets. .
