We’re looking for an Information Systems and Strategy Integration Specialist who can live and volunteer for 12 months in the Philippines.

  • This assignment seeks to strengthen disaster risk management through improved information systems, data collection, reporting, and digital decision-making tools.
  • To be considered, you'll need a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with experience in React, C#, MySQL, and system development.
  • As a volunteer, you will support system development, staff training, mentoring, documentation, and knowledge transfer to build long-term organisational capability.

About the Partner Organisation

The Sipalay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, located in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, is the local government unit responsible for leading the city’s disaster prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. It operates the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), which plays a central role in coordinating disaster response, logistics, and mobilisation.

The partner organisation requires a volunteer due to a shortage of specialist expertise in integrating advanced information systems and science-based approaches—skills essential to support the city’s ambition of establishing a modern, state-of-the-art EOC aligned with national and international frameworks.
