We’re looking for an Impact Management Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Cambodia.
- This assignment seeks to develop a clear, measurable impact statement that reflects COCD’s goals using the existing COCD’s strategic plan
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need familiarity with strategic planning processes and frameworks, particularly in non-profit or development contexts.
- As a volunteer, you will support in designing a framework for monitoring outcomes that prioritizes the perspectives and experiences of children, aligning with COCD’s integrated rural development approach.
About the Partner Organisation
Cambodian Organisation for Children and Development , COCD is a non-government, non-political, non-profitable and non-religious organization. COCD delivers child-centred integrated rural development in three provinces in Cambodia – Kampot, Pursat and Battambang. COCD aims to improve the quality of life of vulnerable and abused children in Cambodia through tackling structural causes of poverty, inequality, social exclusion, and child abuse. A volunteer with expertise in impact management can likely assist in harvesting outcomes, such as those identified in the case statement (the fundraising strategy). To do this, the volunteer could be supported to visit key individuals and communities to meet with (and interview) selected persons, gather photographic and documentary evidence and testimonials, and convert this into accessible communication materials such as case studies, vignettes, or posters to display in COCD offices. Through these efforts, COCD will strengthen its strategic planning and impact measurement capabilities, leading to a more effective and responsive organization.
