We’re looking for an ICT Developer and Analyst Support Trainer who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji.
- This assignment seeks to configure, design, and manage the Fiji Education Staffing Appointment (FSEA) online application
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, Educational Technology or related field
- You will be working alongside Ministry's ICT Unit to supporting them with technical reports on operational workflows and business functions
About the Partner Organisation
The Ministry of Education is working on evolving its current systems to ensure business continuity through the installation of the latest technology and the continuous improvements of its infrastructure and systems by adapting innovative ideas customized to local needs. Ever since 2013, the majority of the Ministry’s Online Systems and Database Applications have been the same without any major upgrades being made to them. The new Management and ICT Team is now working on making significant changes to our systems and infrastructures with assistance from the Government and, most importantly, our Developing Partners and Stakeholders such as the Australian Fiji Education Platform (AFEP).

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining a First Aid Certificate as well as different formats of reference checks (details to be discussed upon selection).
Please note that the Program is temporarily unable to support Approved Accompanying Dependents (AADs) to Fiji until further notice.
