We’re looking for a HIV and Health Professions Development Mentor who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 5 months


•   This assignment seeks to implement, monitor, and evaluate HIV care interventions in primary care settings within Timor-Leste.

•    To be considered for this role, you will need 5 years of relevant experience in medical/nursing/midwifery or other department with HIV focus; or public health, international health, or development.

•    As a volunteer, you will contribute to the team in implementing and executing projects and delivering outcomes.

 

About the Partner Organisation 

Associação Maluk Timor is a non-governmental organization (NGO), based in Comoro, Dili. The Ministry of Health (MdS) vision is for a “Healthy East Timorese people in a healthy East Timor”. Maluk Timor’s mission is to help support MdS to achieve this vision.

This position will be responsible for mentoring and capability building of staff in the HIV and Health Professions Development (HPD) programs. This position also provides a range of other technical and operational inputs for the programs.

Requirements

All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).

A National Police Check and First Aid Certificate must be completed during the application process.

A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
