We’re looking for a Green Industry & Innovation Development Education Mentor who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 5 months. 

  • This assignment seeks to promote innovation and modernization of vocational education methods at HueIC, while integrating green skills to equip students with competencies for sustainable development and environmentally friendly practices.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in education, innovation, or a related field
  • As a volunteer, you will support the development of innovative project proposals that strengthen vocational education.

About the Partner Organisation 

Hue Industrial College (HueIC), under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is a public vocational institution located in Hue City, Vietnam. With its main campus at 70 Nguyen Hue Street and two additional campuses in An Van Duong urban area and Phu Duong commune, HueIC serves as a leading center for technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the Central Region and Central Highlands. The volunteer will work with HueIC to advance innovation and modernize vocational education. The role focuses on promoting creative teaching methods, applying digital tools and advanced technologies in training, and building an innovation ecosystem that inspires entrepreneurship and problem-solving. Furthermore, the volunteer will contribute to aligning HueIC’s vocational education with modern industry practices, ensuring continuous innovation and sustainable development.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.

The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$ 1996 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include First Aid Certificate.
