About the Partner Organisation

The Coordinating Assembly of Non-Governmental Organisation (CANGO), based in Mbabane, was established as a network for NGOs focusing on primary health care in Eswatini. It has become the main coordinating body for NGOs in the country, with a mandate to facilitate sector-wide coordination, building member capacity, and influencing policies through advocacy. CANGO's mission is to ensure a well-functioning and coordinated civil society that contributes to the improvement of the quality of life for marginalized communities. Their vision is to see an empowered, vibrant, and well-coordinated civil society that drives sustainable development and uplifts the lives of vulnerable populations in Eswatini.

This assignment will support CANGO and their member organisations with developing strong fundraising strategies and implementation plans. This will include supporting work on public financing campaigns, utilisation of digital platforms and conventional methods of fundraising. The volunteer will work closely with the relevant team for capacity development.
