About the Partner Organisation
Waniati Development Association Inc. is a community-based non-government organization located in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. The organization works primarily within Goroka and surrounding rural communities, supporting women and children through improved access to health education and maternal care.
Our mission is to promote safe motherhood by providing quality health services and awareness on maternal and child health. We focus on educating young girls, pregnant women, and school communities - both urban and rural - on the risks associated with pregnancy, childbirth, and the importance of accessing public healthcare. We collaborate closely with local health authorities, schools, and community leaders to bridge the information and access gap faced by disadvantaged women.

As a community-driven organization operating without donor funding and relying solely on membership contributions, it is essential to establish transparent and functional financial systems that can support future funding applications and effective service delivery.
