We’re looking for a Financial Sustainability Mentorwho can live and volunteer for 12 months in FIji.


  • This assignment seeks to support Caritas Oceania Members to develop a financial sustainability strategy
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need experience in coducting research as well as formal qualifications in international development, management or fundraising
  • You will be working alongside Caritas Oceania Project Coordinator to provide mentoring opportunity to the rest of Caritas Oceania members in the area of financial sustainability

Caritas Oceania is a network that brings together highly diverse members from the larger and smaller islands of the Pacific. Within their networks, they work on development, emergency response, climate change and peace building. Collectively, the Caritas network has a wide presence across the Pacific, with partners and programs in 20 countries.


About the Australian Volunteers Program

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining a First Aid Certificate.
