We’re looking for a Facility Management Mentor who canlive and volunteer for 12 months in Bhutan.

  • This assignment seeks to enhance the facility management business model to optimise operations, improve sustainability, and align with best practices.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Minimum Bachelor's degree and extensive and demonstrated experience in global best practices and compliance frameworks of facility management systems
  • As a volunteer, you will support the NHDCL in achieving ISO certification and integrating global standards.

About the Partner Organisation

The National Housing Development Corporation Limited (NHDCL) is a State-Owned  Enterprise (SOE) dedicated to providing affordable housing and related services. Since its inception in July 2011, NHDCL has played a pivotal role in developing, managing, and promoting affordable housing facilities across the country. This assignment is crucial for the National Housing Development Corporation Limited (NHDCL) as it prepares to take on the facility management of the Gyalsung Academies, a mandate that requires advanced expertise beyond its current scope. A skilled volunteer will play a vital role in refining the facility management business model, training staff, providing input on the facility management system, and supporting ISO certification, ensuring that the NHDCL meets the expectations set by the Royal Command. Given that local expertise is primarily focused on basic operations and maintenance, the intricate systems within the Gyalsung Academies require global best practices and international benchmarks.
