We’re looking for an Events and Communication Specialist who can live and volunteer in Fiji for 12 months.


  • This assignment seeks to ensure the successful execution of events that align with Fiji Cancer Society mission and goals and fundraising initiatives
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need formal qualifications in event management, hospitality or related fields
  • You will be working alongside Communications officer in reviewing highlevel communications work plan

About the Partner Organisation 

The Fiji Cancer Society, founded in 1993, is the national cancer center in Fiji. The organization focuses on advocacy, awareness, and patient support.

Society’s primary role is to raise awareness about cancer and provide support to patients as well as raise the much-needed funds to support its work. With a vision: Working towards a cancer free Fiji and a mission of working together to stop cancer before it starts.

AUD$ 2,526 per month.   


Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include a First Aid Certificate as well as different formats of reference checks (details to be discused upon selection).
