Established through international cooperation, GMIT provides high-quality education in engineering, technology, and environmental sciences. Its main goal is to develop skilled, innovative, and globally minded professionals who can contribute to Mongolia’s sustainable growth. GMIT’s programs are taught in English and follow international standards, combining academic knowledge with practical experience.

The Language Center (LC) at the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) was established in 2012 to strengthen the English language component of the university’s bachelor programs, which are fully taught in English. The Center’s main aim is to help students improve their English proficiency and academic communication skills, so they can study effectively in their other courses taught in English and prepare for future professional careers.

The LC offers English, Technical English, and Academic Writing as core courses and works closely with other departments to create practical and engaging curricula and teaching materials. In addition to university students, the Center works with secondary school teachers in Nalaikh district, providing English language and professional development workshops.
