English Language Teacher

We’re looking for an English Language Teacher who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 6 months. 

• This assignment seeks to improve English language skills of subject-specific teachers.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a relevant tertiary degree and proven experience in teaching English to adult learners.
• As a volunteer, you will support to enhance self-confidence and speaking skills of local students.

About the partner organisation 

The College was established in 1954 as a Vocational training centre and has been operating for the 70th year. The college has 2 departments: Education and Administrative departments. The Education Department consists of the General Academic Department and the Vocational Department and implements all educational activities. The volunteer will support the improvement of English language proficiency among teachers, students, and staff at the Polytechnic College in Nalaikh District. The volunteer is expected to closely work with college teachers to enhance their English skills and teaching methodologies. The volunteer will also co- teach selected English classes to support both faculty and students. The aim of this assignment is to improve the quality of education, align the curriculum with industry standards, and strengthen the capacity of educators.
