About the Partner Organisation
Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) was established in 1965 as an intergovernmental organization promoting cooperation in education, science and culture. SEAMEO Regional Centre for Community Education Development (SEAMEO CED) is one of 26 SEAMEO's centres. It was established by the SEAMEO Council in 2017 and officially launched in July 2018. SEAMEO CED is working on Community Education Developments by conducting research and providing training to communities in various areas of education and education-related fields such as nutrition, the environment, indigenous wisdom, community leadership and social entrepreneurship. Since English is not our official language, our staff are required to have strong English skills in terms of spoken and written for formal writing, such as in project proposal, and reports. This support is necessary for the centre, including assistance in writing meeting reports, ensuring the accuracy of the English language, and reviewing other documents produced by the centre.
