Bali Sruti Foundation was established in 2004 in Denpasar as a civil society organization based in Bali, with a focus on gender equality, women in politics, and diversity. In 2022, Bali Sruti updated its legal status to become Yayasan Bali Sruti Denpasar, while continuing to address issues of gender justice, diversity, women in politics, and social inclusion. Currently, Bali Sruti is working on strengthening the capacity of grassroots women’s communities at the village level in Denpasar, focusing on GEDSI (Gender, Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion), in collaboration with the Institute KAPAL Perempuan.
Bali Sruti aims to promote the creation of a just, equitable, and inclusive society, especially for women, children, and marginalized groups.
