About the partner organisation
Radio e Televisão de Timor-Leste, Empresa Pública (RTTL.EP) is Timor-Leste's national public broadcaster, based in Dili, delivering radio and television services to audiences across the country.
RTTL.EP provides impartial, inclusive, and accessible news and public information through its radio and television networks. The organisation plays an important role in promoting democratic values, public dialogue, national unity, and Timorese language and culture while expanding its reach through digital transformation and modern broadcasting practices.
RTTL.EP is seeking a volunteer to strengthen the capacity of its English-language news team. While the organisation has made significant progress in developing its English news bulletin, there remains a need for specialised expertise in English-language broadcast journalism, news writing, editing, and mentoring. The volunteer will support staff to improve the quality of English news content and enhance RTTL.EP's ability to engage international audiences, particularly as Timor-Leste increases its engagement within the ASEAN region.
