- You will be working alongside doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals within HNGV's Emergency Department and Cardiac Unit.

About the partner organisation
Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares (HNGV) is Timor-Leste’s only tertiary referral hospital and is located in Dili, Timor-Leste.
HNGV provides secondary and tertiary healthcare services to patients referred from across the country and serves as the national teaching hospital for health professionals. The hospital works with government and international partners to strengthen healthcare services, build workforce capacity, and improve the quality of patient care.
HNGV requires a volunteer to support the strengthening of emergency and cardiac care services through clinical education, mentoring, and workforce development. Due to the limited availability of specialised emergency cardiac care educators and trainers in Timor-Leste, there is a need for technical support to build the skills and confidence of local healthcare professionals, develop clinical protocols, and enhance the hospital’s capacity to manage acute cardiac conditions.
