Nusa Tenggara Association (NTA) is looking for an E-commerce Strategy Mentor for Artisan Weaving Enterprise who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Kupang, Indonesia and continue remotely for another 6 months.
- This assignment seeks to strengthen women's weaving groups' capacity in e-commerce. There are a total of 26 weaving groups across West Timor and Flores that NTA partnered up with to increase each member of the groups' household income.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need an experience and/or have qualifications in small/medium enterprise's e-commerce development. Enterprise that empower women is a plus.
- You will be working alongside NTA teams in Kupang (Timor Island) and Maumere, Sikka (Flores Island) to identify new market opportunities, Increase the capacity of weavers to access local and international markets, and support the development and implementation of an e-commerce platform or online strategy.
About the Partner Organisation
Nusa Tenggara Association (NTA) works to reduce poverty and vulnerability amongst communities in rural areas of the East Nusa Tenggara province in Indonesia. This could be achieved through facilitating and supporting sustainable income generating activities, food security activities, access to water and sanitation, and education support, with motivated households in selected parts of West Timor and Flores. NTA is supported by NTA-Australia. NTA Indonesia (NTA-I) is based in Kupang, capital of NTT, and has a dedicated core team of senior staff as well as field staff who work closely with the communities to implement agricultural, weaving, animal husbandry, water and sanitation, and education activities. NTA-Indonesia is NTA-A’s main implementing partner, overseeing and reporting on all project activities in Flores and West Timor. The NTA takes a grassroots approach to supporting the well-being of the people of East Nusa Tenggara. NTA provide small-scale funding and loans to local farming and weaving groups and schools to invest in projects that will improve their quality of life and ensure that the essentials of clean water, good schools and productive livelihoods are possible for everyone.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.
The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$ 1111 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
