We’re looking for a Digital Learning Mentor who can live and volunteer in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea for 6 months. Join the Australian Volunteers Program to contribute to sustainable development across South Pacific Region. 


  • This assignment seeks to assist in strengthening Cufa PNG information management system and support nest digital practices.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field is often preferred. 
  • Provide support in contributing to empowering communities and advancing socioeconomic progress through education and digital inclusion.

 About the Partner Organisation: 


 Credit Union Foundation Australia (CUFA) is a not-for-profit organisation whose goal is to expand the outreach of financial services and products to people and communities and to support, through funding and technical assistance, emerging credit union movements in developing countries. CUFA supports projects in PNG and Cambodia and receives funding through the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as other international donors including the ADB and UN.


 As Cufa ventures into the realm of digital learning applications within its PNG projects, the role of a Digital Learning Mentor becomes pivotal. This assignment overview delineates the responsibilities, objectives, and significance of the Digital Learning Mentor in collaborating with the Cufa PNG Country Manager, Program Manager, IT Regional Manager, and the wider PNG team to fortify internal IT practices and systems and to integrate innovative digital learning solutions into the organizational framework.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining First Aid Certificate.
