We’re looking for a Digital and Social Media Marketing Officer who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 5 months. 

  • This assignment seeks to assess and analyze AustCham’s social media activities to develop actionable improvement proposals
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
  • As a volunteer, you will develop AustCham social media guidelines and content formats 

About the Partner Organisation 

AustCham Mongolia serves as a bridge between Australian and Mongolian businesses, promoting connectivity, trade, and partnerships. Founded in 2013, AustCham Mongolia is now the largest organization representing Australian commerce in Mongolia, with over 60 members. As the trading relationship between the two countries has expanded beyond energy and resources to encompass a wide range of sectors, AustCham Mongolia has also grown to represent businesses across diverse industries, including mining, manufacturing, education, hospitality, and financial services. This role is pivotal in enhancing AustCham Mongolia's online presence, communication, and engagement. This assignment includes a variety of tasks, such as social media management, creating communication guidelines and design templates, developing social media examples, assisting with website content, hosting workshops and training sessions for the management team, and shaping AustCham Mongolia’s overall identity.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.

The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$ 1,790 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
